Winners get the Entrance Fee Pool per Match
Rules:
Classes - Big Bore Semi Auto, Big Bore Revolver, and 22 LR (pistol and
revolver) handguns.
Note: there will be no mixing of classes.
Equipment:
Any large caliber pistol or revolver, except 41, 44, and 45 magnums, 50 caliber and other large
high power
cartridges as determined by match Director.
Sights: Open iron sights only; no electronic, glass, or laser optics.
Ear and Eye protection MANDATORY.
2 magazines or speed loaders (max).
Ammunition: 100 or more rounds recommended.
Load 6 rounds max at the range officers command, fire/cease fire at the range
officers command, and clear at the range officers command.
Shooting Position: Standing, 6 inches behind tables. Two hand hold allowed.
No artificial supports allowed. No leaning on tables. Prior to the command
to commence firing, loaded hand guns will be held pointed at the ground at an
angle of approximately 45 degrees.
Bring as much ammo to the table as desired. No leaving shooting position
to retrieve more ammunition.
Range officer decides ties.
The same gun must be used for all stages of the match unless a switch is agreed
to by competitors ahead of time.
Match winner will sit out the next match.
At the discretion of the Director partners will be drawn at random from a
hat or may be allowed to pair on their own.
At the discretion of the
Director shooters may be handicapped to keep participation level at its
maximum. Handicap: Singles; an additional pin is added for each match win, and taken away
for each match loss but no one will have less than 5 pins. Partners:
For each win a cartridge will be removed from the magazine, and added back for
each match loss but no one will have less than 3 or more than 6
cartridges. Note, to make the shoot a competition that everyone can
enjoy and have a fair chance of winning you may start with a handicap.
